The realization of the Donassy open atelier is an event that surpasses its modest dimensions and discreet appearance in the city image. Few ardent fighters for public city space, who are worried about priorities, could easily deny such an evaluation and establish that the event of opening a fashion atelier perhaps is not of broadest interest for the community in comparison with, for instance, the recent ‘renovation’ of Cvjetni Square, but it rather belongs to the domain of elitist culture which has little influence on the broader social context.
